ESPN show coming to an end after 23 years

ESPN’s “Around the Horn” will end in the summer of 2025, according to Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post.
The show has been on air for more than two decades after launching in 2002. It was originally hosted by Max Kellerman, who left in 2004 to host a show on Fox Sports Net. Tony Reali took over for Kellerman.
Since its debut, “Around the Horn” has aired in the 5 to 6 p.m. time slot alongside “Pardon the Interruption.”
Panelists on the show over the years have included Woody Paige, J.A. Adande, Bob Ryan, Tim Cowlishaw, Kevin Blackistone and Bill Plaschke. “Pardon the Interruption” creator Erik Rydholm has also overseen “Around the Horn” since Reali took over as host.
“Around the Horn” was a place where many up-and-coming ESPN personalities were able to jump-start their careers.
The New York Post reported in July that the show’s cancellation was under consideration.
